| Bio: | Who am I? That is quite a question . . . one that is not easily answered. I am someone with a passion for words, however they be expressed. Fanfiction has re-ignited this passion recently, Stories that catch my attention are ones that are well-written, regardless of their topic. The workings of my mind are something that even I don't understand - you'll never know what I'm thinking or what will catch my attention. I am someone who was a teacher, working with children with disabilities, watching them grow and succeed. Being a former teacher, though, does make me a tough critic - especially in the areas of spelling, punctuation and grammar. (Hence the reason why well-written works are the ones to catch my attention.) I am someone who now spends her days working in the business. Dealing with executives, being their "right and left hands" (and sometimes, their brains as well!), spending more time than I care to admit in emails and phone calls creates for long days of never-ending work . . . for which fanfiction is my escape. The HP universe has grown on me. It started with finding out a well-respected college professor had written an academic paper about Harry Potter and expanded from there. The teacher in me enjoyed hearing about the growth in reading due to the books and myself personally just enjoyed being lost in a different world. This journal will hold all of my fanfiction writing - there's not much right now, as I do have some reluctance about sharing my own writing. At the moment, it's just the HP universe, but I have no doubt that it will expand as friends introduce me to others - as it is right now, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Highlander and Supernatural are all hanging in the background.
